Accessibility Statement
How we make the Equity52 website usable for everyone, and how to tell us when it is not.
Last updated October 25, 2026
In short
- We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA across the website.
- Every page is checked with automated tests and by keyboard, at desktop and mobile sizes.
- Everything in the animated story is also written out as text.
- If something gets in your way, please tell us at contact@equity52.com.
Our goal
We want everyone who researches companies to be able to learn about Equity52, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we have done
Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, a skip link, and focus styles that are always visible. Menus and the contact form can be opened, used and closed with a keyboard alone, keep focus inside while they are open, and return it when they close.
Text and interface colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio on every surface they appear on. Layouts adapt from small phones to large screens, and text can be enlarged without losing content.
Form errors are described in text next to the field they concern, and the result of sending a form is announced to screen readers.
The home page story
The home page tells part of its story with scroll-driven animation. That scene is described to assistive technology as a single image, all of its words remain available to screen readers and the keyboard, and its chapters can be reached from a list of links.
If your device asks for reduced motion, the story steps between still frames instead of moving, and the thread that links a figure to its source appears without drawing. Without JavaScript, the story is shown as an ordinary page. Everything it shows is also written out as text further down the page.
The product views you can use on the home page, where any figure opens the line of the filing it came from and the Agent Desk asks for your decision, are made of ordinary buttons and text. They work with a keyboard, a screen reader and touch, and announce what changed.
How we test
Every page is checked with the axe-core accessibility engine against WCAG A and AA rules at desktop and mobile widths, including open menus, the open contact form and form errors. We also check pages by keyboard, with reduced motion, and without JavaScript. The most recent check was on October 25, 2026, against WCAG 2.2 level AA. The website has not yet been audited by an independent party.
Known limitations
Some product views, on the access page and in the plain-text summary, are still illustrations, each described to assistive technology as a single image. The description says what the view shows, but not every figure in it.
Where the forms use Cloudflare’s check that tells people from automated submissions, it is normally invisible. If it ever asks you to do something you cannot complete, email access@equity52.com instead and we will take your request from there.
Feedback
If you find a barrier on this website, please tell us. Email contact@equity52.com with the page and what happened. If you need information from the website in another format, ask and we will try to provide it.
