Privacy Policy
How Equity52 handles the information you share through this website, and the choices you have.
Last updated October 25, 2026
In short
- We collect only what you type into a form, plus where your visit began, so we can reply to you.
- The website sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. The only cookie is a session cookie while a password-protected preview of the site is switched on.
- We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold at any time: email contact@equity52.com.
Who we are
This policy covers the Equity52 website at equity52.com. In this policy, “Equity52”, “we” and “us” mean the website’s operator, who is responsible for the information described here. Equity52 is not yet incorporated. Until a company is formed, the website is operated by Equity52’s founder as an individual. When a company takes it over, these documents will be updated to name it. For any privacy question or request, email contact@equity52.com.
The Equity52 application has its own terms and privacy notice, provided to people who are given access to it.
What we collect
When you request access, we receive your name, your email address and, if you choose to give them, how you invest, your firm or affiliation and what you follow. When you send a message, we receive your name, your email address and your message.
With a request we also record the page you sent it from, the first page of your visit, the website that referred you (its address only, not the page), any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), and, where our network provider reports it, the country your connection comes from.
Please do not send confidential information about other people, material non-public information, or anything we do not need to reply to you.
What we do not collect
The website sets no cookies, except a single session cookie when a password-protected preview of the site is switched on. It runs no advertising, social media or cross-site tracking scripts.
We do not store your IP address, browser details or a visitor identifier with your request or with the interaction counts described below. To limit repeated submissions, the server holds a connection address in memory for up to fifteen minutes and never writes it down.
Because the website does not track visitors across sites or over time, it treats every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
How we use it
Requests are received and answered in Equity52 Studio, our own internal system. The website itself keeps no copy.
To read and reply to your request or message, to arrange and hold the conversation you asked for, and, if you are given access, to set that up. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and, where you ask for access, taking steps at your request before an agreement.
To understand which pages and links bring people to us. The website counts a few interactions — selecting Request access, opening the contact form, starting the access form and selecting an email address — as daily totals by page and campaign. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website.
To keep the website and its forms safe from abuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
We do not sell or rent personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who helps us
Our hosting providers run the servers the website and Studio are delivered from, and our email provider carries our replies to you.
We may also use Cloudflare to protect the website: its Turnstile check, which tells people from automated submissions, and its Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies. When the Turnstile check is used, Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser to make it.
These providers act on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
International transfers
Our providers operate in the United States and other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on recognised safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep a request while we are in conversation about it. Once it is closed, we erase it, unless you have become a user of Equity52 or we need to keep part of it to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.
Interaction counts are kept as daily totals and contain no personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To use any of these rights, email contact@equity52.com. We will not treat you differently for doing so, and we may ask you to confirm the request comes from you.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your data protection authority. We would be grateful for the chance to answer your concern first.
California residents: in the last twelve months we have not sold or shared personal information, as those terms are defined in California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections. A request travels from your browser to our server, which signs it and passes it to Studio over an encrypted connection; Studio verifies that signature before accepting it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Children
The website is meant for adults researching investments. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with a new effective date.
